Representatives from the Netherlands Medicines Evaluation Board paid an official visit to Lithuanian State Medicines Control Agency on March 27-28. The purpose of the visit was to agree on implementation of the Agreement initiated by the Government of the Netherlands regarding medicinal products. The Agreement was signed by the Ministers of Health of the Netherlands and Lithuania.
On the basis of the Agreement endeavours will be made to strengthen expertise capabilities of the Agency, as well as cooperation between the Agencies themselves. The project which will continue until 2020 will be implemented using financial means allocated by the Government of the Netherlands. During the Project – various trainings of experts will be organized, also possibilities will be search for attracting into Lithuanian pharmaceutical market more new medicinal products.
The Project will be implemented by the Netherlands Medicines Evaluation Board and Lithuanian State Medicines Control Agency.
